"Rivals" by artist Brenda Hofreiter

I spotted these two peacocks at a farm about a year ago and managed to snap a reference photo of them. I just got around to painting it. The two males were circling each other ready to fight for the attention of the nearby female. They weren't displaying their beautiful feathers, but I did manage to get them looking at each other. I had fun with this one since I don't do that many birds. You can't get more beautiful than a peacock in full feather!
