This painting was created on location at Langford Park here in Orlando, FL.  It's a neighborhood park, but it has a wonderful little wetland area and this resulting stream that winds though it.  I was enchanted by this little stream and had to paint it.  It is afternoon and the shadows are developing under the oaks. It is summer and you can see our wonderful hot pink crepe myrtle trees in the distance.  I love this little wooden bridge that crosses the stream and the dappled light under the oaks.
