This painting was created along the shores of Lake Prevatt at Weikiva Springs
State Park.  There is a yearly Paint Out and sale there to benefit the Friends of
Weikiva and this was created during the paint out.  I hiked down to the lake
and saw this wonderful scene and had to paint it.  The stately old oak made
an archway over the road and threw shadows across it.  You an see the lake edge and the distant shore.  I had a blast throwing all kinds of color into the
oak limbs from the reflected lghts and the cool shadows.   Hope you like the results!
