This painting is of the canoe launch along the shores of Lake Johnson. The rising morning mist is still visible in the distant trees.  The white sand of an ancient sea creates the beach and wraps around the shore, it's brilliance punctuated by the gold of fallen leaves and bushy green vegetation.  I was captivated by the alluring canoe shadows and their mysterious reflections.  Topping it all off,  there was even an eye-grabbing orange rescue float making a perfect focal point!   Well worth the trip up and down the hill.  (Don't let anyone ever tell you that Florida does not have hills!)
